Question:Why are Bryan's ignorant questions even given the honor of being visible on this page?
Question:The manufacturers part number is: XM33AC. Does the "X" in the part number signify that it failed to meet M33 specifications?
Response:Not at all Bryan, most of the ammo that comes from the Lake City Plant is a small overrun on a government US Army contract or similar. For Example, Lake City had a contract to make 4.5M rounds of 50 Cal and they ran the line to 4.8M rounds, therefore the excess of 300K rounds gets sold to the commercial market. Thank you for buying bulk 50 Cal ammo at Target Sports USA.
Question:I've just seen a batch of the "M33" ammunition and noted that it was of 1981 manufacture and showed obvious signs of having been in links at some point.
This is hardly an "overrun on a government US Army contract" and is most likely out of date ammunition that no longer meets M33 specification. Hence my original question as to why the "X" prefix, it makes sense now.
Response:Not so Bryan.... This is first run Lake City M33 ammo product.
Question:So when was this ammunition manufactured? Would you like pictures to prove my statement? Please advise how to attach them.
Response:send them to firstname.lastname@example.org please
Question:So you're suggesting this ammunition is an over run from 1981? Not forgetting that it was once linked?
Response:No, this is not 1981 production nor has it been delinked.
Question:The M33 ammo listed here says 660 grain. You also have M33 linked that says 690 grain. Which is correct?
