Unfortunately I have seen Hornady flex lock performance They perform how they are intended , accurate, consistent expansion and enough penetration In my opinion you can rely on this ammo for your duty/ self defense needs. The +p 45 acp can be a handful for a less experienced shooter , just something to think about
