After buying a new sub MOA rifle, I decided to buy a few boxes of every .308 / 7.62x51 rounds and characterize them.
From Berger to Federal to Wolf, in total about 20 brands / different loads.
With no other ammo even coming close, this ammo was highly inconsistent shooting from a bench rest.
4 different rounds were able to consistently shoot sub 3/4 MOA, and about 1/2 were able to shoot 1.5 MOA or better.
The Wolf ammo on the other hand, struggled to shoot better than a 4 MOA group, more often shooting 5 MOA. Overall, If you're in a firefight with bad guys at 20 yards, this ammo may fit the bill. If you want to hit quarter at 100 yards, I'd recommend you move 90 yards closer to the target.
On the other hand, I got what I paid for, cheap ammo that does cycle the action, and something I'll let others shoot for the heck of it.
