    Shoots fine out of a Ruger Security Six 6 inch barrel. Shoots clean, very nice ammo from Perfecta.

    Just shot 50 rounds of this in a S&W Model 66, 4 inch barrel. I had no failure to fires and it seems to shoot fairly clean. However, it is a very "hot" round, much stronger than the typical 130 grain run-of-the-mill .38 special. It does not kick like a .357 magnum, but it's not far behind.

    Don't buy this Perfecta 38 Special. I have shot hundreds of rounds from my Ruger GP100 with zero problems. This stuff had a drastic change in POI, when it would fire. I only shot 24 rounds of the whole case I bought, and 3 did not fire.

    Great price. It seems to be a pretty stout 38spl load. The ballistic calculators put this round’s muzzle energy at 340 ftlbs., which seems right as it has more recoil than a lot of target 38 spl and is a good step between them and .357 magnums.
