Question:I seem "XM118" being quoted interchangeably with "M118". Are the rounds packaged in the box shown in your picture, that say "M118 LR" and "SUB-LOT A" at the bottom of the box?
Response:Hi Michale, the image is the actual photo of the ammo and how it comes packaged from the Lake City ammunition plant. Thank you for buying bulk 7.62x51mm ammo online at TargetSportsUSA.com
Question:Please confirm that this SMK bullet can be used for hunting.. I am told that the SMK bullets have a thin jacket and are NON expanding.
Is the Hollow Point bullet (in GM 762M2) the same as the Open-tip Match (in XM118LR)? I am asking because the bullet in GM762LR is not rated for hunting and the bullet in XM118LR is. I know I am asking for too much but I need a round that can be used for hunting and competition. Thank you.
Response:Hi, YES technically speaking any SMK and OTM bullets are not really designed for hunting, but rather for long distance accuracy and competition. Thank you for buying 308 ammo online at TargetSportsUSA.com
