Rated 4.74 out of 5 across over 2201 verified reviews and growing, with over 1750 5-star ratings, Wolf Gold 223 Ammo centers on a 55 grain Full Metal Jacket load for 223 Remington platforms. Why Shooters Choose Wolf Ammunition 223 Remington
- Range-ready FMJ: The 55 grain Full Metal Jacket bullet is designed for target practice and training. FMJ bullets are a common choice for range use because the profile is simple, familiar, and well suited to repetitive practice.
- Brass case construction: The precision-engineered brass case supports dependable cycling, according to the manufacturer. It also gives this Wolf Gold ammo the case material many shooters prefer for 223 Remington range loads.
- Boxer primed: The Centerfire / Boxer primer is listed for reliable ignition. This is a key spec for shooters comparing Wolf ammo 223 options for regular training.
- Verified performance specs: This load is rated at 3250 fps with 1290 ft lbs of muzzle energy. Those figures help shoppers compare Wolf 223 ammo against other 223 Remington FMJ loads.
- Built for 223 Remington platforms: The manufacturer states this ammunition is designed for 223 Remington platforms. Always match the caliber marking on your firearm before use.
- Box or case packaging: Available as a Box of 20 or Case of 1000. The case option is useful when you want to keep the same Wolf Gold 223 load on hand for repeat range sessions.
- Quality-control focus: Wolf describes this load as produced under strict quality control standards. The design emphasis is consistency, reliability, and stable flight for training use.
What Customers Say
Customers rate this Wolf Gold ammo 4.74 out of 5 across over 2201 verified reviews and growing, with over 1750 5-star ratings.
This is high quality 223 ammo and shoots cleaner than many other commercial and military offerings. In addition, at least in my rifles, it shoots very close to MOA accuracy, and significantly better than the other brands I tried. Thank you TargetSportsUSA.com

As perfect a cartridge can be in this caliber. Target sports provided an excellent cartridge at a very reasonable price. I expected accuracy out of my 223 rifle but was surprised as just how accurate. Will buy again and would recommend this round to anyone.
Frank M.
I was very pleased at the shooting range. The rounds performed pretty well and flawless through out the whole session (+2 hours} and more than 350 of them flied away against the enemy, a bunch of silhouettes target papers! I recommend this product!
Javier R.

About Wolf Ammunition 223 Remington
Wolf Gold 223 Remington ammunition combines a 55 grain FMJ bullet, brass case, and Centerfire / Boxer primer in a load made for target shooting and training. The manufacturer highlights dependable ignition, consistent cycling, and stable flight as core design goals for this Wolf 223 55 grain option.
For shooters comparing Wolf .223 ammo, this is the brass-cased Wolf Gold line rather than a steel-case range load. Full Metal Jacket ammunition is generally used for practice and training, not controlled expansion, making this a practical choice for drills, sight confirmation, and steady range work.
For shooters stocking the 223 Remington category, this Wolf Ammunition load keeps the focus on brass-cased FMJ training performance from the Wolf Gold line. Choose the box for range testing or the case when you are building a bulk ammo reserve for regular practice.
