Underwood Custom Competition 338 Lapua Ammunition 300 Grain Hollow Point Boat Tail Match - 856: Nosler has combined the precision of its Custom Competition bullet jackets with ultra-accurate lead-alloy cores to set the standard for match rifle and pistol bullets. With a hollow point that reduces drag for increased aerodynamic efficiency and a pronounced boat-tail design for stable flight across a range of velocities, these bullets are built for top-tier performance.
The match grade ammo takes precision to the next level, crafted with even higher standards than our other premium offerings. Meticulously hand-loaded with attention to detail, this ammunition is ideal for competitive shooters, long-range marksmen, big game hunters, and the most dedicated sharpshooters. We believe this is the pinnacle of performance, precision, consistency, and value in a single cartridge.
Each powder charge is hand-thrown to ensure consistency and accuracy with every shot. The match-grade ammo is expertly crafted by Underwood Ballisticians in small batches, rivalling some of the finest handloads available.
The nickel-plated brass casings bring additional benefits, including smoother feeding in all firearm actions, superior corrosion resistance over standard brass, improved aesthetics, and easier cleaning during reloading. Unlike regular brass, nickel-plated casings resist tarnishing even in contact with materials like leather, moisture, or other metals.
As with all Underwood Ammo products, they use flash-suppressed powder to preserve your night vision should you need to fire in low-light situations.
This high-performance ammunition undergoes rigorous testing with popular, real-world firearms to ensure reliability in the conditions you’re most likely to encounter.
This is new-production ammunition, non-corrosive, with reloadable boxer-primed brass cases.
