The ultimate 30-cal solution for Remington's R-15 platform is this Remington Express 300 AAC Blackout ammunition! The Subsonic Open Tip Match bullet shoots better than a 9mm MP5 when it comes to penetration and accuracy. Have had zero problems
"Have had zero problems with this particular ammo. Very good quiet accurate ammo. No failures. Rifles and pistols of any make have to be properly set up to fire subsonic. Heavy buffer and spring with light bolt. Very good ammo and value at this price. As far as dirty, remember with a suppressor or with muzzle devices that force sound forward, discharge goes back into the bolt area so it gets a little dirty. Make cleaning easier with nickel boron bolt assemblies."
To be fair- hard
"To be fair- hard to give any 300 AAC subsonic rounds a high value rating. No need (for me) to look any further as this works perfectly in my 300 AAC supressed SBR."
Much like other Remington
"Much like other Remington 300 BLK ammunition I have shot, not overly fond of or impressed by their offerings. Very dirty ammunition, accuracy is mediocre, recoil is a bit heavy in comparison to competitor offerings, some of my AR's do not feed it well and I have had far too many that fail to ignite with strong primer strikes. At this price point, I would expect far better quality and performance from the ammunition."
