Why Shooters Choose Geco 7.62x39mm

• Non-corrosive lead core: Geco states this ammunition is non-corrosive and uses a lead core bullet. It is also listed as not steel core.
• Verified ballistic spec: The 124 grain bullet is rated at 2430 fps with 1665 ft lbs of muzzle energy. Those are the listed specs for this Geco 7.62 x 39mm load.
• Centerfire Boxer primer: The cartridge uses a Centerfire / Boxer primer setup. This is a familiar modern primer format for commercial centerfire rifle ammunition.
• Bulk-friendly packaging: Packaging is listed as Box of 20 / Case of 1000. That gives shooters a clear path from range boxes to case-level bulk ammo planning.
• Geco manufacturing background: Geco ammunition is produced by RUAG using German-Swiss technology for the US market. The line is built around sporting, hunting, and target applications.

What Customers Say

Customers rate this load 4.68 out of 5 across over 217 verified reviews, with over 172 5-star ratings and growing.

I'm a licensed firearms manufacture and can't purchase ammunition form any of my distributors at these low prices. On top of that, none of my distributors offer free shipping on case purchases. Thanks Target Sports USA ---- awesome company to do business with!

Good out of a Poly Tech AK, very good out of a Mini 30. Note: the factory operating spring will cause jams, because it's identical to the one that comes in a Mini 14. I had to replace it with a Wolff spring. Worked perfectly after that.

James L.

Accurate, clean burning, relatively inexpensive (for brass 7.62x39) and shiny. But my Molot VEPR tears up the casings leaving behind brass shavings, so might stick with steel case. No failures out of the 100 rounds fired.
