The Geco . 38 SP
"The Geco . 38 SP 158 Grain JHP order arrived in time, well packed, and labeled. . . HOWEVER, I received the 158 Grain FMJ Flat Nose instead. . . which is still wonderful and I'll add it to my supply for short and long range open sight pistol and lever gun. I wanted the 158 gr JHP for Hail Mary 100+ yard shooting as it is the same ammo I carried in my 1905 S&W M-10 issue (with lanyard ring and beautiful plum brown Old West finish) with brand new Wolff Springs from the Police armorer."

Avoid this ammunition at
"Avoid this ammunition at all costs, it is God awful. I recently purchased 500 rounds of it and out of the first 100 rounds, I had 7 malfunctions. As I was shooting my revolver, the recoil from it would cause the bullets of the non expended rounds in the cylinder to begin to separate from the bullet casings. This would cause my cylinder to jam because the bullets would become far enough unlodged out of the bullet casings and prevent the cylinder from rotating. I had to have the range master come over and use his tools to unlodge the defective bullet from my cylinder. Apparently, this crappy ammo can also cause damage to the barrel of my revolver, so now I have to go to a gunsmith to have it inspected. I am not going to risk shooting the other 400 rounds I purchased and targetsports is unable to refund me because I bought the ammo over a month ago. I will never again buy revolver ammunition from Geco and will be contacting them shortly to see if they will offer me any sort of compensation. Hope this review helps!"
