This is a great ammunition for short barrel 22 mag pistols. (Mine, a PMR-30, has a 4" barrel.) Not near as much flash, as compared to most 22 mags which have slower burning powder (and which continue burning far beyond the end of a short barrel.) Besides, they are also designed to expand from a short barrel. I mean, if you are going to shoot a 22 mag pistol, what more could you want? (Okay, a cheaper price, but then you get what you pay for; this is a good bang-for-the-buck.)

Ordered a case of the Hornady Critical Defense 22 WMR. Received it in less than five days with no shipping charges. That's what I call service. The ammo fires clean and is just what I expected based on tests I had read about. I plan to use it mainly in my North American Arms mini-revolver. Should do well since this ammo is designed for short barreled revolvers. Shelton in NC
