    This ammo is excellent. I got tired of blasting ducks with steel, only to watch them fly off into the sunrise - oftentimes after a solid, direct hit. I decided to look for something with more knockdown power than steel. I tried a few different brands and metal types, but the Hevi-X had the best results by far. My first shot in the field with this stuff took down 2 wood ducks with one shot, and they were dead as a doornail. You won't need to empty all three shells just to finish off a bird. This stuff hits really hard and usually knocks the birds stone dead on the first shot. I found that the price is reasonable as well. Yes it is more than steel, but the Hevi-X tungsten definitely isn't as expensive as some of the really high end stuff which I can't bring myself to buy. When you consider that you're using significantly fewer shells per number of birds as compared to steel, it only increases the value. I've used this ammo for two full duck seasons now and I don't intend to switch to anything else.
