Biography of Author: Tim Barson

Content Writer: Tim Barson Autobiography

My name is Tim Bronson. I was born on July 23, 1977 in the small town of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. I come from a very big family in which I am one of eight children. My mother and father had migrated to the US in the early 1950’s from Finland in hopes for a better future for their children as well as themselves. My mother, Nataliya Nikolaev, and my father, Kristoff Barson, had met while they were attending the University of Tubingen in Germany. They had both majored in History and always loved to read books. In the early 1980’s, my parents decided to invest all of their money into a small local book store. Ever since I can remember, my parents loved reading books and novelties. They enjoyed spending their nights reading to us children and hoping that one day we would be as intrigued by the meaning of words as they were.

After graduation high school, I decided to attend Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. I graduated with a major in Journalism and European History. Throughout my college career, I have met many gun enthusiasts and I was intrigued to learn more about the industry. I joined my fellow colleagues on various hunting trips in hopes that I would learn more about hunting and gaming. Since I was residing in Georgia through my college years, hunting was somewhat of a norm and people loved the fact that America stands strong on the Second Amendment.

I started to look for upcoming startup businesses that I could join and be a part of where I could use my writing to reach people of this industry. The reason why I chose to find a small business versus a large corporation is because I always strongly believe that smaller businesses hold true value in what they sell and hold strong with their mission. I came upon TargetSportsUSA and decided to see if they would be willing to have me be part of their team. My first interview with them went very well and I was pleased to start my journey with them as a content ghost writer for their company. My articles and blog posts cover variety of information including outdoor sports, hunting, politics, shooting, ammunition as well as the Second Amendment issues and debates.
