Although it's on the Seecamp recommended list, the weight of the bullet (71 gr) results in considerably more felt recoil and muzzle flip than I experienced with 60gr hollow point bullets such as Speer Gold Dots. As a result, there is too much disparity between the way the gun handles with the "cheap" practice FMJ ammo and my choice of defensive HP ammo. From now on I will "bite the bullet" and practice only with the more expensive 60 gr. HPs and I will not buy any more of the WWB 71gr FMJ rounds. For those wishing to use a FMJ bullet for self defense, the Winchester 71 gr FMJ is a good choice.

This is the Ammo reccomended by Seecamp and is the only hardball they say to use. It is the truncated or flat tip kind. Waiting for my 4 boxes should be here tomorrow.
